The call centres in Bulgaria

Since a few years Bulgaria has become the preferred destination for the outsourcing platforms, especially in the field of help and call centres.

Why Bulgaria has become one of the preferred destinations in the call centre industry?

  • The know-how :  the Bulgarian workforce is qualified and multilingual ;
  • The costs : the operational costs are among the lowest in the UE ;
  • The quality : thanks to the cultural proximity of Bulgaria with Western Europe;
  • The experience: more than 30 000 people work in call centres in Bulgaria.

More than 30 big call centres employ about 5.000 agents (of which 90% have a university degree).

According to the A.T. Kearney index   for 2010,   Bulgaria ranks first in Europe and the 13th  in the world among the top 50 best destinations for outsourcing

These centres are mainly situated in the cities of Sofia, Varna et Plovdiv. Les villes de Bourgas, Rousse and Blagoevgrad  and offer an important potential for this type of activity.
